The mowing devil; In flavour future

The mowing devil; In flavour future was made for the art festival Pixelache; The fifth wall 2019 in Helsinki. In the back rooms of exhibition space SOLU, a private cinema has been created to present this video work in the speculation of shifting the room into a microwave. 

This project starts with absurd question, what if the future comes like instant noodles? Technology promises us a drastic change, quick and immediate, but it doesn't seem to be arriving evenly, nor does it seem to solve our old problems. It comes in different flavours, but what's inside was similar anyway. This feeling of delay becomes a demonic experience. With this suppression - you shouldn't cook it too long. In the reflection of term "snack culture" coined in Korea the work mimic the fast metabolism.  This work cycles the audience through psychedelic ramen noodle based Kaleidoscopic fever dreams. The subliminal electronic music and messages drive through your brain propelled by heavy bass subwoofer.
